old but still gold.
In the late sixties, a forward thinking Japanese photographer traveled throughout the northeastern United States stopping at each of the Ivy League schools to document the style of the era. The resulting book, cryptically titled Take Ivy, is pure genius. The photo book was out of print until a few years ago when a small run was re-released, only to immediately sell out.
the book was sold at ebay for $1000 USD me thinks.
love the looks from the scans. clean, sophisticated, classic, inspiring. slim cut chinos, lots of penny loafers, button-down sport shirts, rugby shirts – materials im trying to stock well into the bloated wardrobes. clue: this look will not fade away to time. ever.
some pics from the trad.
