i don’t want to be superstitious,
but certain things happen in a chain reaction of others.
HOME
Mr Mohamed agrees that property agents can provide valuable advice to potential home owners.
However, ultimately, home owners have to be personally responsible.
He stressed: ‘Agents can only advise customers to buy a flat that is within their means, but if the client chooses to be lavish, agents can’t do anything.’
well your venerable mr mohamed, but it does seem property agents are capable of ill advising their clients and remain not contactable when the client needs help. how could not the agents even inform their clients on the 30 month ruling as imposed by HDB?
countless times i have seen uninformed malay families put their trust on malay property agents just because of their race. full of bollocks. if you, mr mohamed, can proclaim that agents can’t do anything, you should think then you are partly responsible and can be viable for personal to treat you in court if your agents do not practice as what it is served to be. 10 years or even 5 years ago it is not common for families to be served unwell in the property dwellings. rarely do we hear of such cases. but don’t you just find it suspicious, the more there are malays dealing as property agents, the more cases where families have lost their homes? this is but just an assumption, but the parallels are very hard to ignore. it’s true both parties are responsible, and the future of personal income may not be sustained, but property agents, you are the first gateway in terms of consultation and advise, no?
passing on

hi reggie. i think we share the same traits. always the nearly man, a borderline acceptance to the generals, ever trying so hard but still misinformed. but we still want to prove, even though the horizon does not meet. in spite of this, we live on. face up, and answer to all your critics. for this, i will bear and grit.
but it does not bode well. for the most respected man in football, the hero who’s still diminished by the masses, the uncle who treats people well, the unassuming man who belies all the evil of power, the gentleman who can still relate to the man on the street – sir bobby robson has passed on. he came here years ago, and ever the unexpected english gentleman he is, as jovial and caring as the folklore says. you are proof that good guys can actually win. the world will miss you uncle bobby.

goodbye, the original mr anchorman.
hi, beautiful
2 weeks back, sarip read about teh release of the *ooh much delectable* olympus pen (cute) camera. items won’t be arriving to our shores until july, but ooh look what we have found here!

i can assure you it is all worth teh money. it’s SMALL, compact, beautiful, handles surprisingly well, video quality quite satisfying even though there is no stabiliser and images are crisp. did i say it is small AND beautiful too?
if you want, get the package that includes the 17mm lens, as shown here. very prime lens!
oh and i like to show off the mpb just because. a mat MUST showcase his possessions. i need to repent, like right now.

just HAVE to include this here too!

never can say goodbye
it’ll be a severe understatement if i wasn’t affected by his passing. it still has not sink in to me he is actually gone. i didn’t remember elvis, hendrix, lennon or even marley, but i grew up listening to mj. everything was mj to me as a kid. hell, even all the makciks, pakciks, neneks, datuks, cousins know mj. and this was the age before information was readily available. his impact was really huge, no doubt. and even though the last 20 years were mostly negative in the eyes of the public, i still thank him for entertaining me during those childhood years. it was good times, boogie.
and one of the best of all.
the king is dead, long live the king.
Bob Lefsetz says it best.
He missed his childhood and now he’s gonna miss his old age.
How fucked up is that?
Michael Jackson never had a chance. He had to succeed for his family, his parents’ dreams were dependent upon him.
And a boy with that much pressure delivers. He works truly hard, so he will be loved. That’s all Michael Jackson was looking for, love.
He wanted to be accepted. Wanted to be so good that he couldn’t be denied. But you can’t change family history, and the public no longer treats you as human, as an equal, once you break through. People want to rip you off or tear you down, or shower you in faux love that’s more about their unfulfilled desires than yours. It gets so confusing that you retreat.

PEN

i’ve been neglecting “the camera berat” because i cant be bothered to lug it around. then again there’s another reason not carrying as much due to not wanting to be “stereotyped” to a whole posse of “the camera berat” gang whom i’m seeing are more looking at it as a “fashion” accessory rather than an instrument. yes, i am narrow minded like that.
and have been longing around for a quality compact camera as much. lx3 was ok, but then again was waiting for something bettuh. then suddenly olympus came with the one above – the remake of the PEN series.
four thirds system. interchangeable lens. range view finder. bla bla bla bla bla. it’s like a dslr but without the burden and obviousness and garang looking. it’s petite, can fit into any of my bags (most important!) and classic looking. beautiful. teh bonus cant come sooner. if there is one anyway. boo. in case you’re interested, the history of the PEN.
dpreview has sampled some shots taken from the PEN.
the Olympus PEN E-P1 will be available in white and silver by next month at S$1,298 (body with 14-42mm lens) and $1,488 (body with 17mm pancake lens). better still, add about a thousand plus for that Zuiko 50mm F2.0 lens. *cries*

live long and prospuh

i was never a fan of star trek. too deep for me lah.
but, the new one was quite good. ok, just because i just want to see simon pegg being a scotty. really, literally.
and, i didnt realise that nero was actually eric bana. and winona ryder? really? for shizzles!
nice cinematography too, what with the shining and reflected light scenes all over the place.
it’s a good start. not being too chummy and michael bay-ish and anything with “sabotage” playing init has to be ok.
if only megan fox can appear somewhere init too. brrrrr.

d-e-d dead
type a
6 months ago, i was so looking forward to this week and next, what with the double whammy of long weekends smacking together side by side. excited i was.
but fate has its funny ways.
i decided to forgo the trip today. bon voyage to the rest. and bad news looking forward, i do not even have the slightest hope that i am able to travel all the way to the end of this year. how very sad, say it ain’t so.
now let me look forward to work all the way till don’t know when. tiredness is really an understatement at this moment. which made me think, why i am still up till this time rambling about this.
oh yes. was looking at all the news reports and keep updating that’s why.
but.
i was pondering. about the severity of this “epidemic”.
ever the excited conspiracy theory guy, i was wonderring if ever there is (ever) something else that is fishy going on in spite of all these events. i don’t know. i am just assuming. but big big things are happening, but not being much reported in fanfare these past few days.
such as.
- uk is leaving basra. funny that. they’ve already been planning to leave there yes it is, but…it’s something BUT i can’t put a finger on to it.
- gsk stock is rising to the roof. and this was before this major epidemic story was inflicted onto everyone.
- chrysler is going for bankruptcy. figure that out.
- if this is really a big event, why are world leaders not telling the worse for everyone, but just reassuring that everyone to be calm? of course we have to keep calm, that’s common sense and thank you for reassuring that to us; but repeatedly saying it to us and suddenly raising the threat level to 5? contradictions have never been so blurred…
- why aren’t there any footage of the dead bodies? sensitivity issues…..or are there any dead bodies in the first place?
- maybe this is not related, but it is timely coincidental that this has happened 2 days after obama left mexico, no? and let’s not even probe as to why air force 1 was flying so low recently…
- what about the recent economic conference on the collapse of the world economy and all that New World Order talk took place. wait a sec, are they related?
- and where has all the talk of the amero currency that was talked about to be created between mexico, u.s. and canada? could a spark of an epidemic be the catalyst to its creation?
i don’t know. who am i suppose to say. i guess i just like to watch mel gibson talking gibberishly to julia roberts on screen many times.
but anyway, the flu’s name has been changed to influenza a. i wonder what is the malay term for influenza. really. what lah? another bad thing, now i can’t do all the babi jokes anymore. so insensitive of me yes.
also, while in the cab, the uncle was telling me an interesting observation. he said, india with its densely populated areas, and sometimes sanitation not at its best, has not been affected by any recent epidemics. he advised me to eat lots of curry. the tumeric is the reason why it didn’t happen there. go figure that out. that, or probably they are having elections, after elections…
anyway, let’s go to sleep, for it will be a long, long, long weekend from now till next week.
siak nye babi.
let the fear begin….

well I seem to being doing just swine

apologies beforehand, but now because of this, the trip scheduled for next week will (probably) be with held by the superiors.
talk about perfect timing.
siak nye babi.
do airlines give refunds for “projected-to-be-pandemic” disruptions? i really hope so.
anyways, it seems things are not bad for all parties during times like these. malaysian made top glove stocks flew to the roof today.
malaysia, boleh!
